Presents and Packages all tied up with Strings....

You finish the line :)

I don't know a single person who doesn't like receiving packages.

And the other day, a brown rectangle was sitting on my dining room table after I got home--just the thing I had been hoping to see :)

I ordered a couple of books from Amazon two weeks ago and they finally came :) Whether you know the package is coming or not, that precious feeling of cutting open the tape to reveal....

Entwined by Heather Dixon :)

And....

The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton

And, at the very bottom.....

The Maze Runner by James Dashner :)

All of these books as well as others can be found in my Book Nook tab right underneath my header. If you click on the cover of the book, you will be taken to the book's website so you can find out more :)

I am so excited to read these books! I am almost done with the Shiver--Mercy Falls series (I'm on the third book--Forever) so I will get to them as soon as I can and let you know what I think. I discovered Entwined and The Maze Runner through Elle Fowler from ElleandBlair.com (they're blog can be found on my sidebar) and I was so excited to give them a try :))

I just love opening up a book and sitting down in my reading nook for a nice long read. (Preferably on a rainy day :)

These are a few of my favorite things :)

What are yours ?

Have a wonderful weekend, darlings!

xoxo Jess

  1. Oh yay they arrived! Goodness Amazon took a while to get to you! Oh well, at least they're safely here now. Canada Post had a strike last Summer I think it was. Everyone was sending stuff by courier. Utter madness. You could NOT expect your things in a timely fashion whatsoever. I can't wait to hear about these books from you! Hopefully my package (which unfortunately is not tied up with strings, but is instead in a big yellow envelope) will arrive soon so you have that to open too!

  2. Entwined is such a wonderful book, I loved it. The cover too is sooooo beautiful.

I'll have to check the other two out.

  3. I've read the Forgotten Garden and really enjoyed it. A very nice light read with a touch of magic to make it extra special good.
    Have a great day,
